Wish List project raises over $60,000 for families
The Enquirer and United Way of Greater Cincinnati's annual Wish List project has raised $60,473 to help families in need. This fundraising effort aims to support local individuals and families during the holiday season. Brittany Berry shared her gratitude with donors. She received help from the Wish List to buy a car for her family. "From the bottom of my heart, I am truly grateful. My children are grateful," she said. This support has made a big difference in their lives, allowing her to pursue a better future for her kids. Brittany and her three children live in Covington, Kentucky, and she studies special education at Mount St. Joseph University. Her family was selected for the Wish List project because they faced transportation challenges, which made it hard to get her children to therapy appointments. Now that she has a reliable car, Brittany can drive her children to their therapy sessions and attend her night classes. She expressed that the financial help has been a "huge relief." The money raised through the Wish List will not only fulfill the dreams of families featured in The Enquirer but will also be used to assist other individuals in need throughout the year. United Way's President, Moira Weir, praised the community's generosity and commitment to helping others.
