Womad Taranaki reveals 2025 festival lineup for New Plymouth event

Womad Taranaki has announced its 2025 festival lineup, featuring artists from around the world. The event will take place in New Plymouth from March 14-16, 2025, at the Bowl of Brooklands. Newly revealed acts include Palestinian electronic group 47Soul, Cuban cellist Ana Carla Maza, and Brazilian band Bala Desejo. They join previously announced artists like Queen Omega and Nitin Sawhney. The festival will also showcase New Zealand's The Veils, who will perform their new album live for the first time. Other performers include Scottish folk group Talisk and power trio Delgres.
