Woman arrested in New Delhi for heroin trafficking
A 49-year-old woman was arrested in New Delhi for drug trafficking. Police seized 100 grams of heroin valued at Rs 20 lakh. This arrest is part of a larger effort against drug syndicates in the Delhi-NCR region. The woman, identified as Vandana alias Pooja, was linked to an interstate heroin supply network. Her arrest followed the earlier capture of a key supplier, Sachin, who had 601 grams of heroin. Authorities used technical surveillance and intelligence to locate Vandana in Bhopura, Uttar Pradesh. Investigations are ongoing to identify other members of the drug syndicate.
