Woman charged in Halifax stabbing death of 16-year-old boy

A 44-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the stabbing death of a 16-year-old boy in Halifax. She was arrested for allegedly providing false information and helping the accused avoid arrest, according to Halifax Regional Police. The victim, Ahmad Al Marrach, was stabbed in a mall parking garage on April 22 and later died in the hospital. Four teenagers were previously charged with second-degree murder, while two adults were charged in August as accessories. One of the teenagers, a 17-year-old, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and will be sentenced in February. Another, a 14-year-old girl, also pleaded guilty and will be sentenced next year. The remaining two teens still face murder charges.
