Woman killed in shooting on Bruce Randolph Avenue
A woman was shot late Thursday night in north Denver and later died from her injuries. Police are treating her death as a homicide and are investigating the incident. Officers responded to the shooting at about 10:20 p.m. in the 2200 block of East Bruce Randolph Avenue. They found the victim at the scene and she was pronounced dead shortly after. The location of this shooting is notable because it is less than a mile away from where police shot and killed an armed man just four hours earlier. At this time, investigators are gathering information about possible suspects. The woman's identity will be released later by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. This story is still developing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
