A woman in Middlesbrough has been sentenced to 26 months in prison for secretly recording men in public restrooms. Chleo Sunter, 37, also known as John Leslie Graham, filmed and photographed men using toilets at multiple locations, including an Aldi supermarket and a shopping center. Sunter was found with 790 images and 15 videos of men taken between January and November 2023. The recordings were part of an investigation by a sexual harm prevention order manager checking whether Sunter was following previous court orders. The court heard Sunter admitted to two counts of voyeurism and six breaches of a sexual harm order. She was previously convicted of sexual assault and possession of extreme pornographic images. Sunter's defense argued that she faced homelessness upon release and asked for a court order instead of prison time. However, the judge highlighted that Sunter’s personal circumstances did not lessen the seriousness of her actions. Sunter has a known history of alcohol abuse and spent eight months in custody prior to her sentencing.
