Women allege Matt Gaetz used adopted son's PayPal for sexual favors payments

Two women testified to the House Ethics Committee that former Rep. Matt Gaetz paid them for sexual favors using the PayPal account of Nestor Galban, whom Gaetz refers to as his "adopted son." Their lawyer, Joel Leppard, discussed their claims in various media interviews. Leppard stated that one client witnessed Gaetz with a 17-year-old friend at a party in July 2017. He also mentioned that payments for sex occurred from mid-2017 to early 2019, involving multiple events and trips. Gaetz has denied the allegations, and a federal investigation into the matter was closed without charges.
