Women provide photos to House ethics investigators in Gaetz sex allegations
Two women allege they were paid over $10,000 by former Rep. Matt Gaetz for sex and provided House ethics investigators with numerous photos, including from a 2019 trip to New York. Their lawyer stated they also shared selfies and nude photos with Gaetz. Gaetz recently resigned from Congress after being nominated by President-elect Donald Trump for attorney general. This resignation has effectively ended the ethics investigation into him, which included allegations of sexual misconduct and drug use. The House Ethics Committee is considering releasing its findings, but plans have been delayed following Gaetz's resignation. The women's lawyer claims there is substantial evidence, including records of payments made to them by Gaetz.
