Women testify Gaetz paid for sex before House ethics panel

One woman claimed to have witnessed Gaetz having sex with a 17-year-old girl at a party in July 2017. Gaetz has denied all allegations, including any involvement with minors, and previously faced a federal investigation that ended without charges in 2023. The House Ethics Committee was set to release its report on Gaetz's conduct but postponed the meeting after his resignation and Trump's nomination of him as attorney general. The committee's findings are now sought by senators who will vote on Gaetz's confirmation.
