Worker killed in Buxar road accident; wife injured

A worker named Naresh Nonia, aged 43, died in a road accident in Buxar district on Tuesday evening. His wife, Mamta Devi, was injured in the same incident. The accident happened in Chaugai village when a tractor struck the couple as they were returning home from a brick kiln in Basantpur. Local residents quickly took Naresh and Mamta to the Chaugai community health center. Unfortunately, doctors announced that Naresh had died from his injuries. Mamta is receiving medical care. Police have launched a search for the tractor driver, who escaped the scene after the accident. Murar police station's SHO, Aman Kumar, confirmed that efforts to find and arrest the driver are underway.
