Workshop for polytechnic students held in Mangaluru

Mangaluru hosted an internship and project workshop for polytechnic students on Friday. The event took place at the Pilikula Regional Science Centre. It aimed to inform students about internship options, project management skills, and various career paths. Vasudeva Acharya, who inaugurated the program, encouraged students to seek internships that enhance their classroom learning. He said that gaining practical experience can help shape their future careers. Acharya highlighted the importance of recognizing new opportunities and joining the right institutions when selecting internships. He also motivated the youth to explore all available options in today's job market. KV Rao, the director of the Regional Science Centre, spoke about the potential of young people in a competitive global landscape. He mentioned that the centre is working to provide guidance on maximizing these opportunities. Rao pointed out the importance of exploring technology that supports the country’s economic growth. Several resource persons were invited to the workshop, including Harish Shetty, the principal of Karnataka Government Polytechnic, and Prameet Shetty from GTTC Center of Excellence. They shared valuable insights and student participants had the chance to discuss opportunities with them.
