Wrong-way driver causes minor crash on I-95
A wrong-way driver caused a crash on Interstate 95 on Friday morning. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. near Greenland and Hampton. State police received reports of a car driving erratically in the northbound lanes. The vehicle then crossed into the southbound lanes. A driver who witnessed the event described a tense situation, saying the wrong-way vehicle was heading straight towards many stopped cars. Fortunately, state troopers were able to guide the driver towards the median, preventing a possible head-on collision. The police confirmed that a minor crash occurred, but no injuries were reported. Traffic resumed normally after the scene was cleared around noon.
