WWE seeks Sting's appearance for Hall of Fame 2025
WWE is reportedly trying to secure an appearance by wrestling legend Sting for the Hall of Fame ceremony in 2025. Sting, a Hall of Famer in his own right, retired last year after a successful career with AEW. He ended his time in the ring with an impressive undefeated record of 29-0. Sting's final match was at AEW Revolution 2024, where he and his partner, Darby Allin, defended their Tag Team Championship. After retiring, Sting made a surprise appearance at an event called All In 2024, where he helped Allin during an attack. Although Sting is under contract with AEW, friends of his, like WCW legend Lex Luger, have been pushing for him to appear at the WWE Hall of Fame. Luger has expressed his desire for Sting to induct him into the Hall of Fame, stating that Sting would be his top choice. Recently, WWE announced that Lex Luger will be inducted into the 2025 Hall of Fame class. WWE officials have reportedly reached out to Sting about potentially appearing, although he has mentioned he might not be able to do so because of his contract with AEW. Additionally, Sting is set to appear at WrestleCon in Las Vegas during the weekend of WrestleMania 41, with his schedule now expanded to include more appearances.
