XDS Astana demotes Gleb Syritsa to development team for new Chinese rider

XDS Astana has demoted Gleb Syritsa to its development team for 2025 to make room for Chinese rider Su Haoyu. The team has not yet officially announced Su's signing, which is linked to new investment from Chinese bicycle maker XDS. The team also extended Anton Kuzmin's contract through 2025. This roster change aims to improve the team's performance and secure enough UCI points to maintain their WorldTour license, as they currently rank outside the top 18. Manager Alexandre Vinokourov stated that Syritsa will have opportunities to compete with the main squad. He emphasized the need for riders to balance team goals with personal ambitions in the upcoming season.
