The SSLC examinations began smoothly in Yadgir and Raichur districts on Friday. The first paper focused on language subjects, including Kannada, English, and Urdu. C.S. Mudhol, the Deputy Director of Public Instruction, reported that all preparations were made for a peaceful exam environment. In Yadgir, 6,065 students were eligible to take the exam. Of these, 5,858 students showed up, while 207 were absent. In Shahapur, out of 5,229 eligible students, 5,073 appeared. Shorapur had 5,389 students eligible, with 5,150 attending. There were no reports of malpractice during the exams. The district set up 62 examination centers. This included 21 in Shahapur, 19 in Shorapur, and 22 in Yadgir. The local government and education departments provided necessary facilities, such as drinking water. Precautionary measures included closing nearby photocopy centers and banning electronic devices in the exam halls. In Raichur, of 31,617 eligible students, 30,498 attended. The attendance varied by region, with 4,278 students in Deodurga, 6,368 in Lingasagur, and 5,577 in Manvi participating. Raichur had 8,776 attendees, while 5,499 came from Sindhanur. A total of 97 examination centers operated in Raichur, with similar smooth and fair conditions reported.
