Yangtze Restaurant in Ottawa closed its doors on November 17 after over 40 years of serving dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. The family-owned establishment was a popular gathering spot in Chinatown since its opening in 1982. The restaurant's building, which spans 9,600 square feet, was sold earlier this year for $3.28 million. The future plans for the property have not been disclosed. Yangtze Restaurant thanked its customers on its website, expressing appreciation for their support throughout the years.
