Yash's film 'Toxic' delayed, new release date pending

Kannada superstar Yash is currently busy with his new film, 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grownups.' The movie, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is creating a lot of buzz. Recent photos of Yash, showcasing his intense new look, have gone viral. He appears with a long beard and spiked hair, posing with senior actor Dr. Shiva Rajkumar and his family. 'Toxic' will focus on the drug mafia and is set in Goa, where a powerful cartel operates. It features a star-studded cast, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria. The action sequences are being choreographed by Hollywood's JJ Perry, who has expressed excitement about the project. He has called 'Toxic' a "banger." The film is planned for a pan-India release and is being shot in Kannada and English. It will also be dubbed in multiple languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam to reach a wider audience. Initially set to release on April 10, 2025, the date has been pushed back due to production delays. A new release date is expected to be announced soon, with a late 2025 theatrical release in mind. In addition to 'Toxic,' Yash is also working on Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming project 'Ramayana,' which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. Yash is not only acting in 'Toxic' but is also a co-producer of the film.
