Yes Studios launches 'Embassy Down' thriller at Series Mania

Yes Studios is set to launch a new action thriller series called "Embassy Down" at Series Mania in Lille. This six-part series comes from the creator of "Your Honor." It is inspired by true events that occurred in 2011 during the Arab Spring. The story focuses on the takeover of the Israeli embassy in Cairo's Tahrir Square. Five Israelis find themselves trapped inside the embassy for 24 hours as angry demonstrators try to break in. The series includes languages such as Hebrew, Arabic, English, and French. "Embassy Down" has been written and co-created by Shlomo Moshiach, known for his work on "Your Honor" and "The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem." The cast features actors like Sean Softi, Maor Schwietzer, and Hisham Suliman, among others. Ariel Benbaji directed the series and co-created it with Moshiach and Ester Namdar-Tamam. It premiered on Yes TV on February 4. The show aims to highlight a tense moment in history, exploring themes of failed rescue attempts and complex personal relationships amid international politics.
