Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made strong accusations against the Congress party and its allies in the INDIA coalition. He claims they are using funds from billionaire George Soros to sway the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He described this alleged action as "treason." In an interview, Adityanath stated that foreign money was involved in the election campaign, and that it was a direct attempt to influence voters. He heavily criticized the role of the Congress party and its coalition partners in this matter. The Chief Minister also addressed the issue of comedian Kunal Kamra. He accused him of misusing free speech to divide the nation. Adityanath emphasized that freedom of expression should not be used to attack others or create divisions. Additionally, Adityanath criticized the Karnataka government, which is led by the Congress party, for introducing a four percent reservation quota for minorities. He stated that this move disrespects the Constitution established by Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Responding to comments from Congress leader DK Shivakumar, Adityanath noted that his views reflect past Congress practices.
