Yogi Adityanath promises improved facilities for Navratri

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting in Lucknow on Friday to discuss preparations for upcoming festivals in Ayodhya. He focused on the development works in the area and stressed the importance of safety and cleanliness during Ram Navami and Ram Janmotsav. With Chaitra Navratri starting on March 30, the Chief Minister highlighted the need for clean and accessible facilities at religious sites, especially temples. He mentioned that areas expecting large crowds should be well equipped with basic public amenities. Yogi Adityanath requested social organizations to help provide food and drinking water for the devotees, ensuring cleanliness throughout the worship areas. He emphasized the installation of water ATMs in key spots. The municipal corporation was instructed to maintain cleanliness along the Saryu River and its ghats. He also advised that roads and footpaths be kept clear and that designated vending zones be created. Additionally, the Chief Minister ordered the setup of canopies for shade and mats along pilgrimage routes. He requested sufficient e-bus services from major locations in Ayodhya to the temples.
