Young Australian dad dies from severe lung infection

Dylan Watts, a young father from Australia, died just three days before his 30th birthday. He had been battling a serious lung condition, which resulted in 72 holes in his lungs caused by a bacterium. Doctors had warned him he might not live to reach this milestone birthday. Despite his illness, Dylan remained positive and continued his treatment. His sister, Caitlyn, said he never gave up, even though he kept his condition mostly private. Recently, he had opened up to their mother about how severe his health issues were. Dylan celebrated with his family shortly before his death. On the night of his passing, he planned to eat carbonara for dinner, but his family ended up cooking for him because he wasn't feeling well. That night, while watching TV, he showed signs of distress before his mother discovered he had died. The cause of Dylan's death is still unclear. An autopsy and a meeting with his doctors are scheduled for answers. Caitlyn mentioned that paramedics considered it might be heart-related due to his weakness. While they wait for more information, Dylan's family and friends have started a GoFundMe to help pay for a “celebration of life” for him. They hope to hold a large gathering on the beach to honor his memory.
