Youth arrested for rideshare driver kidnapping in Liberty Village

A youth has been arrested and a man is wanted in connection with the gunpoint kidnapping of a rideshare driver in Liberty Village last July. The driver was forced to retrieve a stolen vehicle and was robbed. The incident occurred on July 31 when two suspects threatened the driver with a handgun. They drove him to an unknown location, took his cellphone and keys, and fled in the stolen vehicle. Police executed search warrants in November, seizing a firearm magazine, ammunition, and drugs. The youth faces multiple charges, while the wanted man is described as five-foot-eight, 120 pounds, with short black hair and a beard.
