Youth dragged on car bonnet in Kochi; police investigating

A youth in Kochi was dragged on the bonnet of a car for about 500 meters late Thursday night. The incident happened around midnight on SRM Road. Police say the driver was under the influence of alcohol. CCTV footage shows the youth holding onto the car as it sped away. There were four people in the car. After the youth fell off, he was injured and suffered a shoulder dislocation. According to police reports, the driver and passengers had caused trouble at a nearby guest house. They became aggressive after the youth questioned their behavior. Eyewitnesses described how the driver hit the youth, causing him to fall onto the car's bonnet. The individuals in the car are said to have had ongoing issues with the guest house residents. They allegedly threatened others before fleeing the scene in their vehicle. Police have opened a case and are working to locate the car and those involved.
