Youth shot by motorcycle attackers in Bhojpur village

Two men on a motorcycle shot a young man in Bhojpur district on Wednesday morning. The victim, Pappu Kumar, is 18 years old and works for a private company in Pune, Maharashtra. He was hit in the left hand and is receiving treatment at Sadar Hospital in Ara. Pappu was returning from a field when the attackers stopped him and fired without warning. He managed to run home calling for help. Once there, his family and neighbors took him to the hospital. Pappu stated that he had no enemies and did not understand why he was targeted. Police have been quick to respond to the incident. Rakesh Kumar, the station house officer, confirmed that the shooters have been identified. He assured the public that police are actively searching for them and investigating the shooting. A cousin of Pappu's, who was with him at the hospital, described the attackers as local troublemakers. He claimed they have a history of causing problems in the village. The investigation is ongoing as police look into the incident further.
