Zahan Kapoor honors grandfather Shashi Kapoor's legacy
Zahan Kapoor honored his grandfather, Shashi Kapoor, on what would have been his 87th birthday. Zahan shared emotional posts on Instagram to remember the legendary actor, who was celebrated for his outstanding contributions to Indian cinema. Shashi Kapoor won several prestigious awards, including the Padma Bhushan and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. His film career included many iconic roles in both Indian and international films. He was part of the famous Kapoor acting family and started acting as a child in 1948. Zahan posted two pictures of Shashi Kapoor on Instagram. One shows him in a cozy room, deep in thought while holding a book and pipe. The other picture features him in front of Prithvi Theatre, surrounded by theatre posters, showing his passion for the arts. Zahan captioned the images with a simple tribute, “Salagirah dadaji.” Shashi Kapoor performed in famous films like "Deewaar," "Kabhi Kabhie," and "Trishul." His last movie, "Ghar Bazar," came out in 1998. He died on December 4, 2017, due to liver cirrhosis. Shashi Kapoor is remembered fondly for his legacy in film and theatre.
