Zambia police officer arrested for allegedly freeing prisoners to celebrate New Year's Eve
A police officer in Zambia has been arrested for allegedly releasing over a dozen prisoners to celebrate New Year's Eve. Detective Inspector Titus Phiri reportedly seized cell keys while intoxicated and ordered the detainees to leave. Thirteen prisoners are still missing, including individuals facing serious charges like assault and theft. A manhunt is currently underway to locate them.
