Zelenskiy addresses parliament as Ukraine marks 1,000 days of Russian invasion
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy addressed parliament on Tuesday, marking 1,000 days since Russia's invasion. He emphasized Ukraine's resilience and unity, stating that decisive moments are ahead and that the country must not waver in its fight. Zelenskiy highlighted Ukraine's strengthened ties with the European Union and NATO, noting the completion of 27 security agreements. He reaffirmed Ukraine's commitment to sovereignty and the importance of NATO membership for national security. He also discussed military strategies, including plans to produce 30,000 long-range drones and 3,000 cruise missiles next year. Zelenskiy stated that drones currently play a crucial role in combat, accounting for 90% of damage to enemy equipment.
