Zelenskyy and Trump meet with Macron in Paris after Trump's reelection
PARIS — French President Emmanuel Macron hosted a significant meeting on Saturday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. This was their first in-person meeting since Trump’s recent election victory. Initially, Zelenskyy and Trump were set to meet Macron separately. However, the French presidency announced a trilateral discussion just before the meeting began. Trump's election has raised concerns in Europe about U.S. support for Ukraine amid its conflict with Russia. His visit to Paris marked his first trip abroad since winning a second term.
