Zelenskyy rejects Scholz-Putin dialogue, calls for real peace in Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rejected a recent phone call between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He warned that such discussions could weaken Ukraine's diplomatic isolation of Russia and lead to ineffective negotiations. Zelenskyy criticized past agreements like the Minsk accords, stating they allowed Russia to continue its aggression without consequences. He declared there would be "no Minsk-3," emphasizing the need for a peace process that delivers real results. He highlighted Ukraine's focus on both current defense against Russian invasion and long-term national security. Zelenskyy stressed the importance of preparing for a stable future while maintaining Ukraine's sovereignty.
