ZenaTech acquires seventh land survey company in Florida
ZenaTech, Inc. has announced it signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to acquire a land survey engineering company in Florida. This is the seventh LOI the company has signed for such acquisitions. The deal is part of ZenaTech’s strategy to enhance its Drone as a Service (DaaS) offerings. The acquisition would mark ZenaTech's second completed purchase in the Southeastern U.S., following one already closed. The company believes that having more locations in Florida will help boost its DaaS model, providing commercial and government customers with access to AI-powered drone solutions. CEO Shaun Passley highlighted that Florida is important for their strategy because it has good weather for flying drones and supportive regulations. He noted that industries like agriculture, real estate, and construction are showing increasing interest in using drone technology to improve efficiency. ZenaTech offers drone services on a subscription or pay-per-use basis, allowing clients to avoid the costs and challenges of owning and maintaining drone equipment. This model is convenient for various users, including government agencies and construction firms. The drone survey market is expected to grow significantly, reaching over USD $8 billion by 2030. Drones can perform land surveys faster and with more precision than traditional methods, bringing major changes to industries that rely on detailed aerial data. ZenaTech has been expanding its capabilities since 2017, focusing on advanced software and drone technology. Its drones are increasingly used across sectors such as agriculture, defense, and logistics, helping businesses save time and costs. The company operates through multiple offices worldwide and continues to grow its DaaS business model.
