ZP CEO reviews development issues in Hunsur taluk

S Ukesh Kumar, the CEO of the zilla panchayat, recently visited the Hunsur taluk to check on several gram panchayats. His goal was to listen to local residents and evaluate the area's development. Starting at Dodda Hejjuru, Kumar asked the panchayat development officer and president about problems with the solid waste management unit. He wanted to understand the issues related to resource management and revenue collection in the area. Kumar also visited the Government Higher Primary School to review the construction of toilets funded by the 15th Finance Commission. After that, he went to Shankarpura Haadi in Kiranguru, where he talked to residents about housing issues. Many families there are living in overcrowded conditions. His visit concluded in the Ummatthuru gram panchayat. He checked on the Nalloor Pala Ashram School and the Government Higher Primary School. At these schools, he learned about the delays in paying salaries to temporary teachers.
